SAMEUO Strengthens Automotive Quality Credentials with IATF 16949:2016

SAMEUO optical testing

SHENZHEN, China — SAMEUO is highlighting its IATF 16949:2016 quality management system certification as an important credential for customers sourcing automotive electronics. The URS certificate issued to Shenzhen Shenyou Rongding Technology Co., Ltd. covers the design and manufacture of driving recorders and central control displays.

Dated March 13, 2026, the certificate lists an expiry date of March 12, 2029. It gives prospective partners a documented reference when evaluating the quality management system behind these two product categories.

Automotive quality management, from design to manufacture

For a driving recorder or an in-vehicle display, the product specification is only one part of a sourcing decision. Buyers also need to understand the organization responsible for design and manufacturing. The scope stated on SAMEUO’s 2026 certificate addresses both activities:

Design and Manufacture of Driving Recorder and Central Control Displays

Scope stated on the URS IATF 16949:2016 certificate

This scope brings together two areas of SAMEUO’s automotive electronics offering: recording what happens on the road and supporting the in-vehicle display experience. Customers can explore the Dash Cams and Smart Screens ranges, then discuss the requirements of their particular project with the SAMEUO team.

Why IATF 16949 matters to sourcing teams

IATF 16949:2016 is an automotive quality management system standard. Its focus includes continual improvement, defect prevention and reducing variation and waste in the supply chain. For procurement and engineering teams, certification offers a common framework for discussing a supplier’s approach to quality.

For SAMEUO’s prospective partners, the certificate provides three useful points of reference:

  • A named organization: the certificate identifies Shenzhen Shenyou Rongding Technology Co., Ltd. and its Shenzhen site.
  • A defined scope: it explicitly covers design and manufacturing activities for driving recorders and central control displays.
  • Documented certification details: the issuer, issue date, expiry date and site identifier support supplier qualification discussions.

The certification applies to the quality management system within the stated scope. Product specifications, testing and any project-specific approvals remain part of the discussion for each application.

A certification record spanning 2023 and 2026

SAMEUO’s certification record includes an earlier NQA certificate first issued on March 30, 2023, covering the design and manufacture of driving recorders. That certificate’s stated validity ended on March 29, 2026.

The URS certificate dated March 13, 2026, covers driving recorders and central control displays. Both documents identify the same company and IATF Unique Site Identifier, TYAX4W. Together, they document the company’s certification history and the scope recorded in the newer certificate.
